The AC process

How we bring the cold back

Car AC is the work our lead mechanic loves most. Every AC job follows the same four steps, so the fix lasts.

Step 1

Diagnose with gauges

We read the high and low side pressures and check the compressor, clutch and fans, so we know exactly what's wrong before quoting.

Step 2

Find the leak

UV dye and an electronic sniffer show where refrigerant escapes, from a tiny O-ring to a cracked condenser.

Step 3

Repair what failed

We replace the failed part, whether it's a seal, hose, condenser, compressor or expansion valve, with quality parts.

We vacuum the system, recharge to the exact factory amount, and measure the vent temperature in front of you.
